Version bump only: every manual touchpoint bump_version.py knows moves to 0.1.7 and the changelog's Unreleased section closes under it. Two touchpoints are new since the README round — the Status line of the README and the Maven/Gradle snippets of the Java README — and scripts/check_version_sync.py pins them from now on, as the bump script's profile does. Since 0.1.6 this repository took the family's shared values (the napi 3.9 / Node 22 / R 4.1 / C++17 floors, the NativeLoader that reads the library the jar ships, the regenerated Node loader, setup-java 6.0.1 / Test.Sdk 18.10.0) and every README in the family's shape; the packages ship the binding READMEs, so the release carries them. The tag follows after this merges.
