First-run screen accepts the picked variant and says what is still needed (#26), plain descriptions of every part; translation downloads its Gemma when missing; ffprobe checked with ffmpeg and N/A durations measured from streams; encoder chosen by mode and driver (bundled ffmpeg needs driver 610 for NVENC); casting models on CUDA when the studio runs on the card (3-9x faster, cosine 0.99996-1.0 against CPU).
