… space Fork tracks with 3-4 lanes were squished into the single-column 740px timeline cap, wrapping lane-card titles to one word per line while the right two-thirds of the viewport sat empty. Scale the timeline max-width with the widest fork's lane count (~280px/lane, clamped by the 1200px .content-area). Linear/cluster tracks keep the readable 740px cap. A 4-lane fork now spans 1120px (268px/lane vs ~160px before).

Problem
App-space fork tracks with 3–4 parallel lanes were crammed into the single-column
740pxtimeline cap. Each lane got ~160px, forcing card titles to wrap one word per line, while the right ~1/3 of the viewport sat empty. Looked broken.Fix

Drove the island in a Vite harness with a 4-lane fork fixture at 1424px viewport (matching the reported screenshot):
Titles now wrap at 3–4 words/line; empty right gutter gone; fork/join connectors still align to each lane bubble. See screenshots in thread.
No new test failures (the 20 pre-existing app-space jsdom failures are identical on base — unrelated to this change). No app-space type errors.
