When you said to open a separate PR I thought you meant stacked on mine. That'd be easier to review than cherry-picking my commits, since right now the diff includes all of #18721 and the moved files show up as fully rewritten.
I like the hooks/components split, it's nicer than my single client file. But this PR mixes a bunch of things:
- all of #18721
- moving RecentlyViewed to Activity
- the hooks/components refactor
- renaming beta exports and making pinnableCollections required
- the Figma style changes
- rewritten tests
Could you split it into 3 or 4 PRs on top of mine?

The "one row when 1 or 2 pins fit" case lost its test. This only covers the empty recents tab now, but the CSS rule for 1 and 2 pinned cards is still there.

why would I stack it on top of yours? This PR basically deletes all of those files - besides the tests.

Renders pinned and recently viewed documents on the server so the activity widget appears with the rest of the dashboard. The server loads eight documents for each tab, and CSS shows the cards that fit. Paging reuses those documents and fetches more only when needed.
Builds on #18721, keeping its rendering and caching behavior while splitting pinned and recent documents into separate components. They share document loading, pagination, and empty states; pin controls and persistence stay with the pinned tab. The collection filter is shared with Upload Dropzone.
Renames these beta exports:
RecentsAndPinnedClientActivityWidgetClientRecentlyViewedCollectionsFieldCollectionFilterDirect users of
ActivityWidgetClientmust now passpinnableCollections. The built-in widget handles this on the server.RecentlyViewedWidgetremains available as an alias forActivityWidget.Preview
