Publish an NC 35 app-store release (or official install guidance) #170
Nextcloud 35 from git or docker-dev. No viewer version installable (store listing 404); tag v35.0.2 exists on GitHub with prebuilt js and NC 35 compatibility.
What happened
The viewer app vanished from the NC 35 server repo but the app store listing is 404, so git-based and docker-dev installs have no supported way to obtain the app that richdocuments 12.0.1 still requires. Production archives reportedly bundle it; everyone else is stranded.
Steps to reproduce
Install or run Nextcloud 35 from git or docker-dev: the viewer app is gone from the server repo
Run occ app:install viewer: it answers not-found on the store
Open apps.nextcloud.com/apps/viewer: 404
What you expected
Viewer v35.x discoverable and installable from the app store on NC 35, or an official statement with an install path for such installs.
Browser and operating system
n/a, server side (occ CLI, apps.nextcloud.com), not browser related
No existing issue or PR covers the missing app-store listing or install path (searched 2026-10-21).
Verified 2026-10-20: apps.nextcloud.com/apps/viewer 404s; occ app:install viewer answers not-found on the store; tag v35.0.2 exists on GitHub with prebuilt js and NC 35 compatibility.

Viewer is part of nextcloud default installations. There is no need for appstore
