I integrated the LDK server into some of my old cln nodes and some prod stuff, and I noted that the pay command for LDK server could contain most of the logic of the work. I fear that everyone in the ecosystem will end up implementing their version that will be sensible for API changes, if any, in the future, but it also sounds to me very error-prone
So I was thinking of proposing a command like pay --wait [TIMEOUT], where the wait looks like an opt-in flag, and the result is that we will block on the pay command
