feat: outdated-extension hint per profile; unload panel launchd jobs (1.5.219) - #636
Conversation
Every launchd start loaded a job labelled per data directory and left it loaded after it finished; test runs, each with a temporary directory, left hundreds behind on the build hosts. The service now unloads its directory's job once it owns the profile and has written its endpoint (the job only started it; the service runs in a session of its own), unless the job is this very process. A native-host test asserts no job stays loaded for its data directory.
Chrome updates a profile's extensions only while that profile is open, so rarely used profiles keep old builds. The profile list now says which ones are outdated, how long ago each was last opened, and how to update.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Inspect the GUI launchd domain in this test.
If the test runs from a different bootstrap domain, launchctl list can omit the job that launchd_start loaded into gui/<uid>. The assertion at Line 1254 can then pass while that job remains loaded. Inspect gui/<uid> directly, and match the label derived from the service directory rather than relying on the test process’s launchd context. Apple’s launchd documentation distinguishes GUI and user domains as separate sets of services. (manpagez.com)
