Large graph loads periodically stall while the visualizer rebuilds project and galaxy aggregates. Cache project, galaxy and cluster membership using the registry’s append-generation contract, then reuse numeric buffers for centroid and radius calculations. Preserve refresh cadence, moving positions, missing-position handling, ownership changes and existing grouping behavior. Replacing a registry also invalidates snapshots when its revision counters match the old registry.
