Summary

hyperstructure/homebrew-tap's brew bump workflow will open each release's formula pull request as a GitHub App. That way its checks start without anyone selecting "Approve workflows to run". The workflow then merges the pull request itself once the tap's required checks pass. This updates the release skill, AGENTS.md and the Release workflow's comments to match. The skill now says the tap merges the release within about 15 minutes, and that a pull request whose check failed stays open for a person to fix and merge. Only docs and comments change; cargo test -p xtask, which checks the docs' links, passes.

Merge this together with the tap's pull request, once its setup steps are done. Until then, the tap still needs the manual steps that these docs no longer describe.

Note

Low risk. It changes only docs, a skill and workflow comments; nothing that runs. The docs describe a flow that works only once the Homebrew tap's pull request is merged and set up.

What it does. Updates the release skill, AGENTS.md and the Release workflow's comments to say that the Homebrew tap's brew bump workflow now merges each release's formula pull request itself once the tap's checks pass, instead of a person approving workflows and merging. It also says that a pull request whose check fails, or that takes over 45 minutes, stays open for a person to fix and merge.

Merge order. The description says to merge this together with hyperstructure/homebrew-tap#32, after its GitHub App and ruleset setup steps are done. Until then the docs describe a flow the tap doesn't have.

hyperstructure/homebrew-tap's brew bump workflow now opens the formula's
pull request as a GitHub App, so its checks start without anyone approving
them, and merges it once the checks that the tap's main requires pass. The
release skill no longer asks for Approve workflows to run and a code
owner's merge, and says what to do when a check fails and the pull request
stays open.
