SharedMarks is a Chrome extension that allows you to share and synchronize bookmark folders with your team in real-time. Stop sending links back and forth—keep your team's resources organized and accessible right in your browser.

How It Works

1. Install the Extension: Add SharedMarks to your Chrome browser.
2. Create Your Account: Sign up for a free SharedMarks account.
3. Start a Team: Create a new team and invite your colleagues using a secure invite code.
4. Share a Folder: Select any of your bookmark folders and choose which team to share it with.
5. Collaborate: That's it! The folder is now synced. Any changes you or your team members make will be reflected in everyone's browser instantly.

Installation

From the Chrome Web Store (Recommended)

1. Visit the SharedMarks page on the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to Chrome.

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest sharedmarks-bookmarks-vX.X.zip file from the project's releases.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
4. Enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top-right corner.
5. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped directory.

Privacy & Security

Your privacy is our top priority. SharedMarks only accesses the bookmark folders that you explicitly choose to share. All other bookmarks remain private and are never accessed or stored.
