Description

The President is responsible for guiding the direction of UPE as a whole at RPI. Establishing a list of semesterly events, managing resources as well as delegating to necessary tasks to his cabinet are his tasks. It is the responsibility of the President to have oversight of the organization as a whole as well as manage department/UPE relations.

Responsibilities

The president has the following responsibilities:

  • Running meetings
  • Developing semester plans and managing meeting times
  • Petitioning the department for budgets prepared by the treasurer
  • Directing the organization to any activities which can benefit it, its members and the community as a whole
