The implementation originally linked here, PR #679, is closed without merging. The existing Copilot CLI provider proposal remains open in PR #572, tracked under #8. Keeping this request open while that implementation is pending; no Copilot provider delivery is implied by closing #679.
The older proposal #679 closed without merging. PR #572 is the shared implementation tracked under issue #8; neither issue is resolved until accepted Copilot support lands.
Keeping this issue open: the relevant implementation is not merged and the remaining scope still needs verification. Check/review status is a point-in-time snapshot, not a claim of merge readiness.
