Add kagi search --images using the existing subscriber session only, with no paid API fallback.
Return original image URLs, source-page links, thumbnails and original dimensions; support JSON, compact JSON, TOON, pretty, Markdown and CSV.
Add read-only kagi_image_search MCP tool, strict unsupported-option validation, session-scoped optional cache, and an opt-in live smoke test.
Prepare Cargo/npm metadata and changelog for v0.23.0.
Verification
Formatting and Clippy --all-targets --all-features -- -D warnings: passed.
Local broad automated checks initially passed 227 unit tests, 107 CLI integration tests and 13 mail tests across runs; 13 pre-existing opt-in live tests ignored. Final-head hosted CI runs the complete suite.
The aggregate local invocation encountered an environment egress restriction to news.kagi.com after the unit/CLI suites passed; mail tests passed separately. CI must pass on the final head before merge.
Final image-specific code and v0.23.0 metadata: all 20 image-related unit/integration tests passed locally, including challenge-text false positives and CSV formula neutralization.
Real subscriber HTML: all 358 image/source pairs and ordering independently cross-checked against parsed results.
Live compiled CLI/MCP smoke passed: CLI limit 3, six output formats (cached after the first request), MCP limit 2 and structuredContent. The cloud proxy required the existing system trust store via --features reqwest/rustls-tls-native-roots; TLS verification stayed enabled and default release TLS configuration is unchanged.
Documentation config test and final production build passed.
No credential, cookie, account HTML or local config committed.
