hey, I'm Maxi ⚡

I'm a backend developer who cut his teeth on Bitcoin and Lightning.

What I've been up to

  • Mostro · 2026 – now. Contributing to a peer-to-peer Lightning exchange, and learning Rust on the way in. Same problems, sharper tools.
  • lnp2pBot · 2026. Lead dev of a P2P exchange that lives inside a Telegram bot and settles over Lightning, no custody, no middleman. Patched a duplicate-payment bug in invoice parsing, took the whole thing from Node 18 to 22, and reviewed the community's PRs.
  • Libertech · 2023 – 2026. Co-founded a WhatsApp chatbot company for health professionals. Built it, shipped it, ran it on Docker, and learned that the client's problem is never the one they first describe.
