docs(desktop): document launch-time port conflicts and leftover ComfyUI processes - #2118
The desktop docs explained the If Port is Busy setting on the Manage panel's Startup Args tab, but nothing described what actually happens at launch when another program already holds the port, or what Comfy Desktop does with a ComfyUI left running by an earlier session. Both are common "the instance will not start" situations, so this adds a section to the launching area of usage/instance-management.mdx:
### When the Port Is Already in Use: the default behaviour (bump to the next free port and say so in the startup progress), the Port already in use screen when the setting is Ask what to do or when --port is set explicitly, the three holder cases the message distinguishes (another Desktop instance, a ComfyUI, any other program), the three actions (Use next available port, Stop process and retry with its unsaved-work confirmation, Return to Dashboard), and the same-installation case, qualified because Desktop only runs that holder check when the launch passes --enable-assets (which it does for current Cores unless the user forces --disable-assets).
#### A ComfyUI Left Behind by an Earlier Session: the pre-port check for a ComfyUI of the same installation started by an earlier Desktop session, the prompt/busy cases with Stop it and launch, survivors with Stop them and launch, and the message that asks for a manual end when the process will not exit.
One new figure, images/desktop/usage/launch_port_conflict.png (1440x900 whole window, English UI, v1.1.8).
Port policy and checks: src/main/lib/ipc/sessionActions/launch.ts (_resolvePortConflictPolicy, the portOccupied branch, portConflictSameInstall, and the resolvePriorProcess block that runs before it).
Defaults and setting values: src/main/sources/standalone/index.ts and src/main/sources/portable.ts (portConflict: 'auto'); src/main/sources/common/launchSettingsFields.ts (ask / auto options).
The figure is a staged state, not a captured real failure: a local listener plus a port-lock record was used to reach the "another Comfy Desktop instance" variant, which keeps personal file paths out of the image. The instance name in the shot (Flux Lab) is demo data.
Translations
English plus zh / ja / ko / es in the same commit. The es page is included because the Spanish locale now covers installation/desktop/** and check-structure-parity fails without it. In es the Desktop UI labels stay in English, which is what the app actually renders: the shell ships only en and zh locales.
bun .github/scripts/i18n/check-structure-parity.ts --base=upstream/main → OK, check-anchors --only-changed → OK, validate-links → only a pre-existing hit under the local tmp/ cache, verify_content_parity.py → 0 gaps.
The instance-management documentation adds launch guidance for same-installation ComfyUI processes left by earlier sessions and for occupied ports. The updates cover the Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese pages, and refresh translation metadata.

Summary
Previous-session process handling es/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, ja/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, ko/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, zh/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx
The pages describe handling same-installation ComfyUI processes left by earlier sessions, including processes that are processing prompts, do not respond, or do not exit. The translated pages also update translation metadata.
Port conflict handling es/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, ja/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, ko/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx, zh/installation/desktop/usage/instance-management.mdx
The pages describe the default next-available-port policy, the prompt policy, the effect of specifying --port, and available actions based on the process occupying the port.

The port-conflict guidance is substantially ready, but readers could misunderstand when the asset-system check applies. Correct the default attribution and Chinese terminology before publishing, or accept these bounded documentation issues.

ComfyUI from the same installation holds the port, Comfy Desktop asks instead of
switching ports, and avoid implying that every busy port is handled by switching
automatically.

enabled at startup is called “资产系统,” matching the usage associated with
