What: Audit contract gas usage and identify optimization opportunities.

Why: Gas costs affect user experience. Optimization reduces costs.

Scope: Profile gas usage for each function. Identify expensive operations. Optimize storage reads/writes. Measure after optimization.

Acceptance criteria:

• Gas usage is profiled
• Opportunities are identified
• Optimizations are applied
• Gas reduction is documented
