I'm a 2nd-year BSc IT & Management student based in Bhubaneswar, figuring out how systems work beneath the application layer. I don't claim to be an expert, but I learn best by breaking things, reading the docs, and putting it all back together.
Right now, I'm focused on building a solid foundation. I'm taking the time to learn Java (specifically working on Data Structures & Algorithms) and SQL.
Recently, I've started diving into Rust and Bash scripting. I just started out with them, but I was drawn to Rust for its memory model and compiler diagnostics, and Bash because I want to get better at automating my environment.
Linux has been my daily driver for a while now. I recently hopped to Fedora, but I spent a lot of time on Arch Linux building out my custom Wayland setup.
If you like minimal setups, you can check out my Hyprland dotfiles (Noctra OS). I built it around a dynamic-island style Waybar, lazy-loaded Zsh, and a Material You color system (using Matugen) that automatically themes the entire OS based on the current wallpaper.
I'm always open to talking about Linux, system customization, or just sharing what we're currently learning. You can check out my repos or reach out!
