Both failures tracked here are root-caused and fixed:

1. Original trigger (merge-queue run of fix(dev): single-pass install build — capture artifact JSON from the real build #609): uffs-cli::cli_integration::other_single_dash_token_is_a_pattern_not_help — the test auto-spawned a real uffsd (the workspace build places one next to the test binary), polled readiness for the full 120 s deadline, and failed with capital-D Daemon did not become ready in time, which the case-sensitive lowercase daemon match misses. Fixed by fix(client): UFFS_NO_AUTOSTART kill-switch so tests never spawn uffsd #612: UFFS_NO_AUTOSTART kill-switch in spawn_daemon, set by the integration harness — daemonless failures are now immediate, deterministic, and leak no processes.
2. Appended failure (main run 32601124030): uffs-daemon::lifecycle::session_tier_upgrade_extends_timeout — real-clock sleeps with 100–300 ms deadlines flaking on a loaded Windows runner (the ci profile counts flaky as failure). Fixed by fix(daemon): lifecycle idle-timer tests on tokio's paused clock #611 (merged): the whole run_idle_timer test cluster moved to tokio's paused virtual clock with assertion instants off the deadline grid.
