**Describe the bug✱
Using Claude Cowork on my Mac Studio attaching a folder for a project or in a conversation and this folder is present in the sidebar of Finder, but not mounted (because NAS storage), then the error message in the screenshot appears and Claude Desktop app can no longer be used afterwards and must be terminated and restarted via "stop immediately"
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open conversation/project setup
- click to add folder
- select a favorite folder from the sidebar that is not mounted
- immediately freezes and shows error message which won’t close anymore
- force close claude desktop app
**Expected behavior✱
There should be a error messae that can be clicked
