Chart Elements / Search Box Accepting Only Coordinates

I just set up the genome browser with GIVE-Docker and loaded the hg38 reference genome + local data, but am unable to search by gene name.
In my html file, I loaded webcomponentsjs/webcomponents-lite.js and chart-controller/chart-controller.html.
