[Game Crash] Crash when trying to exit Editor

Describe the crash

In the editor, trying to creating a stepchart for a song. It crashed on its own the first time. The second time, I went in and hit Exit Edit Mode, and selected Yes to save my changes, then it crashed. I tried this a third time, not even editing anything. I hit Exit Edit Mode, and selected No to not save my changes, and it also crashed.

How can you reproduce the error?

1. Start game
2. Edit/Share
3. Edit Songs/Steps
4. Select a song
5. Tweak it, or even leave it as is
6. Exit Edit Mode
7. Do you want to save changes before exiting? Select either yes or no. Both make it crash.

'Exit Edit Mode' 'Save Chart to Lua' and 'Save' are sporadically all making the app crash, seemingly randomly. Even when I successfully save the chart, the next time I open it to edit, there is no option to resume working on the saved chart.

To clarify, I have no issue with crashes when playing the game. It runs normally on my MacOS, and this is the first time I've experienced crashing, only in the Editor

From the report, it tells me that it hit a segmentation fault when trying to get the notedata used on the editor to then save... However it did try to end gracefully to report, but then macOS went "nah". Still trying to figure out the exact point of failure on that.

Could you check if the crash log has any data from it? You can find that file (alongside other ones like the Main, Theme, Network logs) in ~/Library/Logs/Project OutFox/ (Use Finder's "Go To" option (CMD+Shift+G) to paste the path).

It helps a little bit, it points out that it could be somewhere on the Steps deconstructor. Doesn't explain much why only on the editor though, but it's a start.

Astroterium (now called AstronarioxX) here, as a guy who just left Outfox discord server back in 2020 because I just throwing an random message in the chat by saying that "Hey, i'm going to quit the server and I'll come back soon" in the chat which I did lie to everyone that I would not return to the server.

Anyways, I was about to report an same bug that I'm currently going through right now. When switching an noteskin and changing the speed in the editor, and then create an new chart for the song, the game will tends to ask you an question if you want to save it or not. When you say yes, the game will just casually just return back to the song select with a list of charts for each song. However, once upon returning to the same chart file that you saved earlier just because of the noteskin that you switch and the speed that you change, the game automatically crashes the game. When you return to the game and then go back to the editor section, the game automatically delete all of the charts (including yours) for the song.

I also notice that the game also crashes or just takes a long time when attempting to reload the songs off from the disk. Off from there, I did record an entire two of the long footage of this bug and not the crash log itself because it didn't show an error message that allows me to save the crash log in the game
