I'm adding new art "Shark Shock" to the "Tiiko Shoox" ,but i found there is no electric effect when the damage causes.
when I change file "en01003420.chr"(Monster "Tiiko Shoox" ) to "en01003410.chr"(Monster "Pashfe Gyaark") , the electric effect shows, but the animation goes wrong.
so i want to edit chr file to add the electric effect and keep the animation correct

The chr file data is editable by writing programs with xc3_lib, but only the skeleton data has been researched. Using a different chr file also changes the skeleton, which explains why the animations are messed up. There's also a "effpnt" file in both chr files that has different data that may be related to effect placement.

I'll leave this issue open in case someone wants to look into this. I haven't looked into effects in these games other than reading and writing some of the file formats.
