Question regarding usage

Been watching a bunch of VAOS videos for warship inspiration, and noticed that the ship-to-ship combat in his warship series is done at orbital velocities, at least from what I can tell. Does this mod handle orbital combat, or is it just for space?

The guidance and piloting doesn't take orbital motion into account, only relative velocities. It's assuming everything is taking place in a simple inertial reference frame when really it's a non-inertial reference frame. They do boost their orbits if their periapsis falls too low and retreat by doing a plane change but that's it for orbital stuff. That works because it's designed for ships to start within load range of eachother in space, which is usually very small compared to the size of their orbits.
