Feature: Bolt12 Support

Implement Bolt12 protocol to enable more flexible and private payments on the Lightning Network. This feature will allow reusable invoices, recurring payments, and greater control over receipts, improving the user experience

BOLT12 support has been partially added in the iOS Send flow, but the current implementation depends on the Liquid/LBTC swap path. Since swaps are currently unavailable due to the swap service issue, this is not usable end-to-end right now.

The broader Lightning-side scope from this request, such as native Lightning BOLT12 offers, reusable receive offers, recurring payments, and additional receipt controls, is not fully supported yet. We’ll keep this open to track the remaining work.
