any plans for displaying dynamic text? for example, i use a python script to call an API, then i set 2 variables :value_1 and value_2 at the end, based on the result. then display/set the text from those values.

sure - I send a request to an internet speedtest api and it gives json back, I want to display those results on the button (ping and bandwidth)

Another use case would be showing a % completed value as the script is running. Would be beneficial if it was a more involved script and was running in the background.

these are both interesting thoughts, in the case of the percent, we would need an action that can accept an stream, so that the script can display the stream content, as the action does not know about how far the script is, that has to come from the script itself

Could we use the return value 1? Or is that only set once per key press? Having the script do the calculations makes sense and just have the script pass the value. It could even be that the value has to be a string format already (ie "10%" not the decimal ".1")
